I lived in Macon, GA, for a year before moving to Johnson City, TN. Macon has Yoshino cherry trees all over and a cherry blossom festival in spring which occasionally coincides with the actual blooming of the trees. When there are lots of them blooming, they're absolutely beautiful -- on a par with the dogwoods here in upper east Tennessee.
