Ustream iPhone App

January 21st, 2009 Christian Grantham

I downloaded the Ustream iPhone app during lunch but couldn’t use it until I got home. The app only works on wi-fi.

Right now I’m watching Chris Pirillo pounding away at his keyboard. I managed to get kicked out of his chat by a zealous moderator for saying “omg.” Maybe it was an accident, but it’s not a big deal.

I kinda like the way Chris overlays his chatroom. Once I get a third monitor, I’ll set something up like what he’s done.

Anyway, I found Morning Browser recordings under “archives” on the new Ustream iPhone app. I wonder how long it will be before it doesn’t look the same?

Here’s what TechCrunch said about the Ustream iPhone app. It makes me wonder how much later an app can be born before it’s no longer called a fraternal twin.

We eagerly await the fraternal twin Ustream app that will let users broadcast their own video from the device as well.
