Morning Browser: the second coming of Spandau Ballet

March 30th, 2009 Christian Grantham

On today’s Morning Browser, I briefly touched on the second coming of Spandau Ballet and why this reconciliation of sorts is so important to the people of Belfast and the world.

As you may know, Spandau Ballet had a nasty split up before the 1980s ended and then they landed in court in 1999 where a judge officially ruled they all hated each other. And just when the world needs them the most, Spandau Ballet is back.

The more I thought about Michael Jackson’s announcement a couple of weeks ago in the UK of his upcoming tour, the more I thought Jackson could have been trying to sabotage the reuniting of Spandau Ballet.

But nothing can stop the second coming of Spandau Ballet. This much is true. No, not a Monday morning, and not even Michael Jackson. Spandau Ballet, baby!!

Tune in to the Morning Browser weekdays live from 6-7am CT.
