On today’s Morning Browser, Russ reminded us from the History Channel studios that today is the birthday of Hitler. Meanwhile, Mary and Freddie kicked off today’s Liberadio on their brand spanking new video feed reminding us of the significance of 4-20.  Mary’s munching gave it all away.

But today has some special significance to me and my partner Vince. Besides it being the time the sugar maple and pin oak buds begin to open, today is our seven year anniversary. We’ve been together now for over nine years, but seven years ago today we held a private ceremony at our dear friend Rob’s house in Maryland with a small group of very dear friends. He even had a fancy photo printed onto the cake somehow for us.

It’s wonderful to have two anniversaries every year - not so much that one lands on Hitler’s birthday, though.
