A Christmas Sermon

by Christian Grantham - 8:31 pm December 25, 2007

Katie Couric says Christmas was once banned in America, and then the baby Santa was born and saved Christmas, or something.

Doctor Rowan Williams, the Archbishop of Canterbury, told worshippers at Canterbury Cathedral in south-east England, that humanity needed to protect the world created by God.

People should treat each other and nature with “reverence”, the Church of England leader said.

“More and more (is) clearly required of us as we grow in awareness of how fragile is the balance of species and environments in the world and just how our greed distorts it.

“When we threaten the balance of things, we don’t just put our material survival at risk; more profoundly we put our spiritual sensitivity at risk — the possibility of being opened up to endless wonder by the world around us.”

Merry Heineken Draughtkeg thingy

by Christian Grantham - 5:54 pm December 23, 2007

Good draft. Good drift. Good boosting. Vince bought a Heineken mini keg. After drinking a few bottles, we put this demo together to teach Americans how to properly use the 5-liter Heineken DraughtKeg. Nothing should keep you from your beer. Not even a stupid lever thingy.

Merry Christmas cards

by Christian Grantham - 2:55 pm December 16, 2007

I buy Christmas cards every year. There is something magical about getting a card in the mail, and it’s easy to do. So why the cards end up in a growing collection of cards that are never sent keeps me staring blankly into the foggy mirror of life.

Anyways, I tried to get a few out this year. Some made it, and some didn’t. Merry Christmas.
