The amount of data Google Analytics provides you is amazing. I could get lost in it for days. Above is a closer look at where folks came from to get to my website in 2009. Tennessee sent 30% of the total visitors to this site for the year. The rest of the states are single digits, more or less.

My own meta view of the data is that in 2009 a lot of people wanted to know who I am. 68% of my traffic was new, most of it was from Tennessee, and the top search string that got them here was my name. That’s just one important finding that will help shape how I use the site in 2010.
