A few folks on Twitter this afternoon got to come along with me as I did some grocery shopping at Walmart in Smyrna, TN. I lived streamed the whole thing using the new Ustream app for the iPhone.

Today again confirmed a problem I’m seeing with the app. When you save your recorded stream to Ustream it’s broken up into several tiny clips instead of one long video. That makes the clips kind of useless. The lengths of the clips vary greatly. The alternative of recording locally to the phone for later upload is fine if you don’t have a better camera handy.

I came up on this nicely dressed woman shopping for meat. If she was looking for a deal there may or may not be a rabbit somewhere already skinned and everything.

One thing to remember for future live streams: when you click the link I send you, there is a chat room below the player. I can see your chat as I live stream. So you can almost direct me from time to time if you see something I don’t.
