Share the good stuff - Morning Browser weekly wave
I’ve been playing around with Google Wave to see what it can do and started the first weekly wave for the Morning Browser (you need a Google Wave account to participate *). You can search public waves for “Morning Browser” to see more.
The idea behind having a weekly wave (suggested by @g_wake) is to create a collaborative space for folks to share links to stories or videos that have their attention. If it works, I could go to the wave throughout the week during the Morning Browser live to explore and share the good stuff.
Right now the weekly wave is public and is also embedded on the Morning Browser page where you can watch live while engaging both the chat and the wave.
A few of us have been talking in another wave on enhancing the news with waves about the need for moderation and limiting a “tidal wave” effect of too many people on a single wave. That’s just two initial problems some are seeing with using public waves in media. This weekly wave will be good practice.
