BP gas pump sign BP gas pump sign

Yesterday, the Tennessee Dept. of Agriculture’s Weights and Measures visited that Murfreesboro BP station I told you about. I got a call this morning that the station was given three notices of violation on gas pump hoses. They have 30 days to replace them.

If you’ve ever met me, I’m a real easy going kind of guy. That can deceive morons into thinking they can run all over me, but I do what I can to set their impression straight and very often aim for bonus points.

When I took pictures of the signs on the pumps you see above, I did it only because I thought it was ironic that BP’s gas pumps would not automatically shut off just as BP continues to spill close to a million gallons of oil a day into the Gulf of Mexico.

Things changed when that employee began taking pictures of my license plate. I don’t care what his intentions were with photographing my license plate, but if the TBI confirms anyone ran my plates, there will be a few more people to add to the unemployment line. I don’t have any qualms with freeing up jobs for people who deserve them.
