Frank sent me this post talking about how John Mellencamp’s son has created a facebook page urging his father to quit smoking.

According to the post, Speck, John’s son, created the facebook group because he “made a deal” with his dad that he’d think about quitting smoking if Speck could get 1,000,000 other people to care enough to join.

What’s weird to me is why John wouldn’t do it first for himself and maybe even second for his own son rather than waiting around for a million other people to care.
